Stop! The Punditry Is All Wrong.
It's K-Street Versus Main Street.

The 1968 Election cycle has finally arrived. The current election is actually the last step in true modern change to the political landscape. Modern Change, what the hell is that? Thanks for asking.
The marriage of economic and social idealism of the Democrats with the clear eyed, rock ribbed Republican libertarianism of the Eisenhower, Nixon, Lodge, Mitt's dad George along with even Goldwater to create a problem solving coalition for the next forty years.
The race for the White House
in 2008 breaks down into two groups.
The Mossy(More Of the Same, Stupid) Traditionalists versus The New Trads.
The Mossy group Mitt, Hilary, Rudy, Chris and Joe.
Against.
The Huckabee, Ron Paul, and Obama sea change. Are you seeing it?
Want it plain and simple?
K-street versus Main street.
More later.

Perfection Is A Direction.

The Dolphins win, add Bill Parcells to their front office all in the span of six days. It’s a “Christmas Miracle”. Team owner Wayne Huizenga has already sold the TV rights to the Hallmark Channel. So look for “How Marino Saved Christmas” this time next year.

Checking the lines. Doctor Tomah’stm Fresh Pickles.

Pittsburgh-> Thursday night beat down of the Rams.
Carolina-> The Cowboys look like crap standing next to Jessica Simpson. Crap.

Indy-> Houston’s dreams ends.
*Buffalo-> Cover for Christmas.
Detroit-> Why not?
Green Bay-> Brett > Cold Miser.
Philly-> Really. Santa’s a Philly fan from way back.
Cleveland-> Feliz… navi.. whatever, Ocho Cinco. Your season was basura.
Jacksonville-> Stay healthy Jags. The Pats want no excuses when they beat you silly.
Arizona-> The good times in Atlanta are over. What good times? Exactly.
Tampa Bay-> Let’s end the season as Super Bowl-bound sleeper team.
NY Jets-> Good for Eric. His team gives a character building performance. It’s something.
Seattle-> Billick’s back next year. ‘Hawks could care less. So do the Ravens’ players.
Minnesota-> The Doctor thinks this’ll be a good game.
MNF Pick-> San Diego.

Did you here about the newly discovered galaxy ejecting deadly radiation toward its celestial neighbor. It stopped once it heard it would be playing the New England Patriots next season. True story.

Perfection Is No Fantasy.

Marching to history. The Patriots continue to insist, over and over again that they are the best football team ever. Not with words but by action.
Now here’s the thing.

Barring injuries and a mass doping scandal, playing good (not even great) football; The Doctor sees no team beating the New England Patriots…ever.

So stay healthy and off the juice.

*Pats.

Checking the lines. Doctor Tomah’stm Fresh Pickles.

Houston-> Kubiak’s ready for his old coach.

NYGiants-> Eli? Please.

Maimi-> This is the one Crockett and Tubbs are waiting for, they bust the Fish for throwing the season.

New Orleans-> Why not?

Green Bay-> Brett > St. Francis of Assisi.

Seattle-> Really. They may be sneaking and peaking into the Playoffs to raise havoc.

Tennessee

Pittsburgh-> Need to make a statement. “We are not FRAUDS”.

Tampa Bay

Indy

Philadelphia-> Let’s end the season with a strongly mediocre run.

Cleveland-> Good for Romeo. His team believes.

Detroit

*Chicago

Every Sunday A Super Bowl.

The Doctor woke up with the gnawing concern.

What is the physical and emotional toll on a football team if it’s facing not one, not two, not three…do you know were this is going? …But five more Super Bowls this season. Make it six if you count this past Monday’s Raven’s tilt. The Patriots play their remaining schedule facing teams that will play with total abandon. Coming at them in waves of adrenalin fueled ferocity. The New England Patriots are every team’s Super Bowl. The sport’s intelligentsia has stated this.
A slight respite may come in form of the playoff-bound the Steelers and Giants. Both of whom team health is an expected priority. Maybe a respite. Maybe not.
But Miami and the Jets those games could degenerate into flat out “Longest Yard” debacles (Burt version). “Game of the Decade stuff” for their respective franchises.
Remember going forward there is only one true goal to every NFL team’s season.

“To win a battle and lose an Empire is no victory.

To lose a battle and save an Empire is no defeat”- Kayless

*Pittsburgh.

Now for the rough numbers.

Checking the lines.

Washington-> Rex? Please.
Carolina
Detroit
-> Need it more.
Buffalo-> Miami resting up for their Super Bowl.
NY Giants-> The cat in ”Shrek 2”, that’s Eli. Big sad eyes melt the heart of the defense. What’s your explanation?
Green Bay
San Diego
-> The Line says Pick’em.
St Louis
Houston
Seattle

San Fran
Cleveland-> Battle of the Bill’s former defensive coordinators. Romeo’s got the better team.
