..What else? Oh Yeah! This Bush to Madame Speaker Pelosi: Let's do lunch. It's hard to type over the sound of Republican/Neocon/Evangelical weeping and nashing of teeth. They are gonna be in a F-5 Tornado Spin Cycle trying to get positives out of this election. Hopefully this will bring a needed reflection to Evangelicals. They need to sort out whether it's more important to be good stewards of the planet and their communitys or to wallow in the back alleys of politics chasing an illusion of power. Many of those good folks are going to feel betrayed by a movement hierarchy too vested in their own profane desires.
Oh and last night....Where's Mary Matalin the pundit sage of the right on this night of nights. Saw Bennent, JCWatts, Begala and hubby James on CNN but no Mary.Why can't she be around to share this evening's results. Sitter issues?. No. She's a fraud. All bluster and sharp retorts when things are going her way. MIA when the going gets tough. But then again how do ya polish up a debacle. Mary Matalin, Mary Matilin please show up.
BritFume, Mort Kondrakie and Fox stats guy doing verbal cartwheels to explain hang-ups in exit polling. Wulf and Jeff Greenfield (hey Wulf your blocking Jeff's shot on the looong stroll across CNN's Hi-Tech info center)prattling on about nonsense, rehash with precious little insight.Literally bumping into each as they wander around multi-million dollar set. Here's an idea save the money on crazy sets, report in a straight forward manner, no frills then donate the savings to the Fallen Heroes Fund.
MSNBC coverage anchor AHA! (Hint: Chris Matthews not the musical group) and the Casuals i.e. Scarboro, Andrea, Buchanan and Barnicle et al. None impressed in comments or reporting .
Except Olbermann he's added some well focused comments and punditry with a twist these pass two weeks. And seemed move beyond typical Conventional Wizdumb.
Also missed Jack Cafferty on CNN. Earlier in the week he had called for a breath taking sweep of historical dimensions and he just about got it.
While the Senate is still up air pending possible shennanigans in VA and MT. Let's hope democracy wins out and the Senate ends up where it belongs with decent reasonable people.
Speaking of which the lost of Harold Ford in TN is a painful disappointment on national scale but he will be heard from again and must be on the short list of potential TN governor or VP candidates.
Finally to KW, activists like you have been walking the walk and talking the talk so let's see if the Democratic party can pay folks back by providing sane, honest, fair goverment.
